Although not officially founded until 1847, Mishicot can trace its roots back to the first sawmill built by Daniel Smith in 1844. RiverEdge Galleries houses an ever-changing array of unique art and original paintings, featuring changing exhibitions by leading Wisconsin and national artists. Mishicot's many festivals and events are sure to please. In early July, Mishicot Fest is held on the grounds of Fox Hills Resort, with an exciting fireworks show at night. On the last weekend in July, RiverFest entertains with its great food, live music and Sunday parade.
